Collar Shrug
This shrug pattern was inspired by the bebe shrug shown in the small photo below. It is made with a sportweight yarn and K crochet hook. If you know how to read basic instructions and know how to sl st, sc and dc you will have no problem making this shrug.
This pattern is written for 5 sizes. XS - XL. Measurements are as follows,
X-small measures 32-34 inches around and 17 inches long. Small measures 34-36 around and 18 inches long, Medium size measures 36-38 inches around and 19 inches long. Large size measures 38-40 inches around and 20 inches long. X-large size measures 40-42 inches around and 21 inches long. Measurements are taken with no stretch so the shrug should wear similar to the mannequin. The length is from the back neck to the bottom edge of the collar.
The shrug is worked in left and right sides and sl st’d together. Both sides are worked the same. Size changes are noted through out the pattern and are determined by number of rows and not stitches. Because of the style reducing rows will reduce the width and length.
